My son has been attending KidTherapy for 6 months and the improvement is drastic. Such a fantastic place with the nicest staff! I love the way the therapists all communicate with one another and work together. It’s so clear how much they care about their clients. I know that he is in loving and safe hands when he is there. My child has done feeding/speech therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. The entire team of therapists is incredible. He has worked with Nicole for speech, Kelly for OT, and Daman for PT. Each one of them have been patient, kind, and really understanding with my son. The staff goes out of the way to make sure as a parent I understand what was going on with my son. The goals, the techniques, and everything for us to work on in between sessions. One of the best decisions I made as a parent was starting my child at KidTherapy.
KidTherapy is life changing. That’s the only way to describe it. My son started OT with Kelly and Dawn when he was 7. He had therapy his entire life and yet was still a puzzle to everyone. Upon first meeting, they understood him more than others who had worked with him for years, noticing things that others hadn’t. They wanted to understand him and help him grow. And that’s exactly what they and the other amazing therapists at KidTherapy have done. He is a teenager now and has grown into a young man who can do things we never dreamed possible. He is more capable, centered, and confident than we ever thought he could be. Through so much hard work, he had fun while learning and developing essential skills. It was their influence and their creativity to meet him where he is at that has made all the difference on his growth into the person that he is today. The care that the KidTherapy team has for the families that they work with and the passion that they exude for what they do is unmatched. My son wouldn’t be who he is without them. To say that I am grateful for KidTherapy is an understatement.
My grandson attends KidTherapy weekly with Miss Dana, and I usually bring him. From the first time we stepped in the door, we felt welcomed. The waiting room is inviting and the office staff is absolutely lovely. The treatment/play room is spacious and well-equipped. But it is the professionalism, warmth, expertise and kindness of the treatment staff, particularly Miss Dana, that has made a big difference in my grandson’s life. I would, without exception, recommend KidTherapy.
My daughter has been with KidTherapy for over three years and the changes we’ve seen are nothing short of remarkable. The practitioners work with her strengths and interests to help her grow and learn. There is never coercion, shame, or judgement. They are always accepting and kind, which creates an environment of total trust and support in which children feel safe and can thrive!
