Part-Time | Maternity Leave Coverage (Mid-April–August)

KidTherapy is an established and well-respected pediatric private practice in Chester, New Jersey, seeking an experienced, energetic, and fun-loving Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team. This position includes maternity leave coverage from mid-April through August, with an opportunity for continued part-time or full-time hours following the coverage period.
We provide cutting-edge therapeutic services in a state-of-the-art sensory gym, supporting children from birth through school age with challenges in speech and language development, social communication, learning, sensory processing, and feeding.

Position Overview
This is a part-time position that includes maternity leave coverage mid-April through August, with an opportunity for continued hours beyond August based on caseload needs and mutual fit. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is motivated to build and manage a caseload, expand clinical expertise, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule
• Daytime availability required
• Some after-school and/or weekend availability required
• Flexible scheduling within these parameters

Responsibilities
• Evaluate and treat pediatric clients (birth through school age)
• Address expressive and receptive language, articulation, phonology, social communication, and feeding needs
• Collaborate with OTs, PTs, counselors, and families
• Provide parent education and home carryover strategies
• Complete timely documentation and progress reports

Requirements
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active New Jersey SLP license (or license-eligible)
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-SLP) consistent with ASHA standards
• Pediatric experience required, including feeding experience
• Commitment to neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based practice
• Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
